  1. Hi @JZaffiro Thank you for reaching out. Most of our Major pairs margin requirement ranges between 2% and 3%, that is 1/50 and 1/33.33 respectively. You can find more information of the leverage we provide from the link Margin of Forex. This would be the same requirement on demo accounts as it tracks the live account. You can login to your IG demo account from the App. Please use the same demo credentials when logging into your App. You can use the demo account your entire IG lifetime. The IG demo account does not have a time limit. All the best, OfentseIG
  2. Hi @Rich Please email helpdsek.uk@ig.com using your registered email address for further assistance. We might need to re-enable it from our end. We are unable to share account related information or your contact details on this platform as it is a public platform. All the best, OfentseIG
  3. Hi @sebytaba Did the above response answer your query? If you still need more assistance please do not hesitate to let us know. Thanks, OfentseIG
  4. Hi @danielk Unfortunately not. You can increase it only if you take up a higher premium. That would be opening a new different position. Thanks, OfentseIG
  5. Hi @Russ As you hold a long position, you need to look at the bid/sell price on the chart. Do this by right clicking on the chart >>> price >>> bid. You are currently looking at the mid price as shown in your screenshot. The reason the limit level has not triggered is due to the bid price not trading at your limit level. When you are long on a trade, the trade is closed by selling the position and vice versa. All the best, OfentseIG
  6. Hi @danielk Thanks for reaching out. If you buy options, the maximum loss is your premium (margin). Options are cash settled. You have the option to exercise it before expiry or leave it until expiry. Nonetheless, the maximum loss would still be your premium regardless of where the strike price is. All the best, OfentseIG
  7. Hi @StefanJ007 Thank you for reaching out. With share CFDs you deal at the real market price, so we don't attach our own spread. Instead, we take a small commission when you open the position, and again when you close it. In each instance, a minimum charge applies. Take a look at the commission charges applied on shares. All the best, OfentseIG
  8. Hi @quluqulu Thank you for reaching out. The charge on your account was for holding the position through Wednesday 10pm UK time. The position will incur three days’ worth of funding to cover the settlement of trades over the weekend. This is because FX settles on a T+2 basis and Spot Gold overnight funding is calculated the same way as FX overnight funding. All positions help through 10pm UK time will be charged overnight funding, whether USD denominated or GBP denominated. All the best, OfentseIG
  9. Hi @cyrillic To access ProRealTime, login to your account via desktop, on your MyIG 'Dashboard', you'll have the option to select the option 'Launch PRT' to launch the platform. All the best, OfentseIG
  10. Hi @Newbie Thanks for reaching out. You can find the margin required for every trade when you select the size and direction. You can also find margin requirement/leverage under the market 'Info' tab on the dealing ticket. All the best, OfentseIG
  11. Hi @smidge21 @Ben Thank you for reaching out. IG does not offer investment club accounts. We only offer individual, corporate and joint accounts. All the best, OfentseIG
  12. Hi @J_J_A Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately we do not have that feature yet. We have submitted this feedback to the relevant team to consider. If there are any changes or updates, we will post it on the platform. All the best, OfentseIG
  13. Hi @Russ For non-professional traders regulated by ESMA, the margin required will be whichever is greater out of ‘Normal Margin’ vs ‘Guaranteed Stop Margin’. In non-ESMA regions, ‘Guaranteed Stop Margin' will apply. This is because even though a client's maximum loss is the 'Guaranteed Stop margin', changing the margin requirement simultaneously changes the leverage client's trade with. Thus, a reduced margin requirement would result in greater leverage. ESMA regulation caps the amount of leverage that non-professional (Retail) traders can trade with. Therefore, we will cap the leverage at the margin factor we set, meaning ESMA Retail clients will be required to deposit at least ‘Normal Margin’. All the best, OfentseIG
  14. Hi @Maxlinder If you are converting and transferring to another account, you would need to call us on our international line +35 318 009 95364 to request for currency conversion. All other conversions are done automatically. Your account is set to ‘instant conversion’ by default, which means that your foreign-currency profit is converted to your base currency automatically – and your funding, commission and dividend charges are taken into account before your account is credited. You can also set your account to daily, weekly and monthly conversion settings. Our standard charge is 0.5% spread on the best bid/offer available. All the best, O.D
  15. Hi @Russ We may offer reduced margin on tier 1 positions with a non-guaranteed stop attached. This does not apply to higher tiers, where margin is calculated using the 'without a stop' formula. Your overall margin requirement is calculated as follows: Without a stop Margin = Size x price x margin factor With a non-guaranteed stop We calculate your margin with a non-guaranteed stop, compare it to the margin required without a stop, and charge the lower of the two figures as margin. Margin = (size x price x slippage factor x margin factor) + (size x stop distance) With a guaranteed stop Margin = (size x stop distance) + limited-risk premium All the best, OfentseIG
  16. Hi @Pet007 If you are trading on a leverage account (CFD or Spread Betting), you can trade all US stocks pre- or post- market. They do not have to have the title 'All sessions' for you to trade them out of hours. However due to low liquidity in the pre- and post- market, you would have to call our desk to trade these. Unfortunately we cannot trade them online when it is out of hours nor can we add them as All Sessions stocks. All the best, O.D
  17. Hi @johnhg246 Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately we do not have the option to remove it for all markets under the settings tab. We will pass on your feedback to the relevant team to consider this feature. All the best, OfentseIG
  18. Hi @Kevin, the income statement is used to show the dividends received in a tax year and the breakdown of the different types of instruments that have paid them (shares, ETFs) Therefore, the Income tax statements can only be generated if you've received dividends during the financial year ending 2022. If you have not received dividends, you can generate the ledger summary statement from the History tab on your My IG. All the best, OfentseIG
