  5. Hi @kifliki2 Thank you for reaching out. We only offer SA40 on domestic accounts that have margin offset. Unfortunately the IG International account does not have margin offset as it is under ESMA regulation. All the best, O.D
  6. Hi @kifliki2 Margin offset only applies to the domestic account (non-ESMA accounts). If you are trading in an International CFD account, this rule does not apply to ESMA accounts. All the best, OfentseIG
  7. Hi @quluqulu It's not an FX charge. The spot market is an Over the Counter (OTC) market, which means that there is no central exchange in which currencies are traded. Overnight funding is charged if you hold the position over 10pm UK time. The charge is not based on negative balance but for holding the position through 10pm, and charged as a Cost to Hold from one day to the next. The payment can either be a charge or a credit as the Tom-Next rate changes daily. All the best, OfentseIG
  8. Hi @thesarayiahpost Thank you for taking our call. This issue is currently under investigation. An update will be posted soon. All the best, OfentseIG
  9. Hi there, thank you for contacting us. Are you trading on your ZAR demo account? If you open the same size under the same market, it should return a portion of your margin as you are hedged. Please end a screenshot, we will escalate further. All the best, OfentseIG

  13. Hi @NickW-uk, Thanks for the feedback. We will send your feedback to the relevant department. Please kindly note that this can take time to be included on the platform. All the best, OfentseIG
  14. Hi @Ben That is correct. If you make 3 trades on US stocks in the month of November, you won't pay commission in December. This will continue as long as you make 3 trades per month. This also applies to UK stocks. If you make 3 trades on UK stocks this month paying commission of £8, you will be paying reduced commission of £3 in the next month. You can make 3 trades in the first month and countless trades in the second month. You still won't be charged commission in the second month. All the best, OfentseIG
  15. Hi @Sibabes We do not have such a feature at the moment unfortunately. We will pass on your feedback to the relevant team. You can provide more information and context and we will escalate this further. All the best, OfentseIG
  16. Hi @Rich As an IG client you get ProRealTime charts free for your first month. After that, you still won’t pay for ProRealTime if you trade at least four times in a given month. If you don't, or your trading activity is of extremely low value, you’ll pay a £30 fee on the last day of every month. Your live account needs to have PRT activated to get free access on the demo account. 23. In most cases, the reason why your trade was rejected can be found in the Market info tab on the web platform. This can be found under the deal ticket > ‘info’ tab or ‘market info’ on mobile apps What is unborrowable? This is when you are unable to take a short position. If you try to trade online, you will be offered a rejection message and prompted to call into the dealing desk. When you call in, we may be able to offer a short position if you are looking to trade a small size, however we will have to check with the Shares Desk for borrow. All unborrowable stocks are only offered for short positions on the DFB (not Forward Contracts). What is No Controlled Risk? This means you cannot place a guaranteed stop on this market. Why is a stock on Closings only? You will not be able to open new positions on this market, however you will be able to close positions you currently hold. This could happen when the market cap of the stock got reduced, there was a name change, etc. You can contact our helpdesk for more details on the specific market. Why can’t I place orders on US (all sessions) stocks during out of hours trading? When it is pre/post market trading hours you can only place orders using an all-sessions expiry instead of a normal one. The table below illustrates our all sessions trading hours: Aus Time (AEST) UK time (GMT) US stocks 00:30 – 07:00 13:30 – 20:00 US (all sessions) stocks on share dealing from Monday - Thursday 22:00 – 08:300 11:00 – 21:30 US (all sessions) stocks on share dealing on Friday 22:00 – 08:00 11:00 – 21:00 US (all sessions) stocks on leverage from Monday - Thursday 19:00 – 11:00 08:00 – 00:00 US (all sessions) stocks on leverage on Friday 19:00 – 08:00 08:00 – 21:00 Do I need to sign the relevant US tax form to trade US stock? Yes, you need to sign the relevant tax form if you want to trade US shares or US incorporated shares outside the USA on leveraged account (CFD/ Spread Bet) account. If the form is not signed, you would be charged $50 on your account. You can find all forms from the link United Kingdom: https://www.ig.com/uk/us-stocks Australia: https://www.ig.com/au/us-stocks-irs-tax-forms Why have the minimum trade sizes for all markets (including shares) increased? When you first open a live CFD account you receive reduced minimums for a month which are 75% of the standard bet size. Reduced minimum deal or trade sizes, or reduced commission rates for CFD shares, enable you to take a position at 25% of the size that we normally require. This offering is available for the entirety of your first 31 days trading from a live spread betting or CFD account, across all of our markets. f you require support on a different trade rejection, account specific query or information about a different region, please email our helpdesk for more information.
  24. Hi @Dougie Thank you for reaching out. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have a known issue that is affecting most of our demo accounts. Please kindly note that the relevant team is currently working to resolve the issue. If you need to reach our helpdesk team, the incident number for this case is INC0675090.
