  1. Hi @Kgrp74 Yes you can. You can hold different currencies in the Share dealing account. Note for multi-currency accounts: The commission trading fees shown on the website apply to clients who opt for the default setting of 'instant currency conversion'. Clients who choose to convert currencies manually will pay commission of 2 cents per share with a minimum charge of $15 on US stocks. Changing your currency conversion settings influences the amount of commission you pay. All the best, OfentseIG

  7. Hi @CPerry Forex pairs do not trade on an exchange. These are traded over the counter and we get prices from liquidity offers. These trade roughly 23 hours a day which is different from stocks which trade during the main sessions you mentioned. The shares main London session opens at 08:00 till 16:30. Markets normally have auction time but this can depend. So you would find that there is auction time 10 minutes before the market opens and 30 minutes after market close. In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October. This October, when the clocks go back, the UK is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). All the best, OfentseIG
  8. Hi @GrinTense The change and percentage change you see is measured on a daily time frame. We get these from our data providers. This measures the change from midnight until now and constantly changes after midnight. I hope this answers your question. On the IG platform, the change in points is equivalent to pips. In GBP/USD, for instance, 0.0001 is one pip. Let’s take a look at the EUR/USD currency pair. If the market moves from 1.1600 to 1.1601, that 0.0001 increase would be a single pip move. IG would normally refer to it as 1 point movement. All the best, OfentseIG
  9. Hi @jamesl5 Thank you for reaching out. That is correct. Guaranteed stop distance is normally in % form. All the best, OfentseIG

  12. Hi @NickS In most cases, this error is an account related issue. We would need to confirm the size you are selecting to see if the margin required to open that position matches available funds. You would need to email helpdesk.en@ig.com for further details as we are unable to resolve account related issues on a public platform. All the best, OfentseIG
  13. Hi @somersault Thanks for reaching out. We will have to reset your demo account. Please confirm if you are comfortable with this fix. However in a live account, If a company performs a stock split your original position will be closed at your original opening level and size, ensuring no profit or loss is realized. A new position will then be opened to reflect the ratio of the split. Any attached Stops or Limits will be adjusted to ensure your monetary risk remains the same. All unattached orders to open will be removed. I will wait for your confirmation to reset the demo account. Thanks, OfentseIG

  20. Hi @Faurh There is no time frame on how it changes. We do apply certain models in the background to measure certain factors. It depends on what is happening in the market. The bid-ask spread can be impacted by a range of factors, including: Liquidity. How easily an asset can be bought or sold. As the liquidity of an asset increases, the bid-ask spread usually tightens Volume. This is a method of reporting the quantity of an asset that is traded daily. Assets that have a higher trading volume will often have narrower bid-offer spreads Volatility. This is a measure of how much the market price changes in a given period. During periods of high volatility, when prices change rapidly, the spread is usually much wider All the best, OfentseIG
