That wasn't my understanding. They didn't say anything about censoring or controlling the content, just nationalizing the part of BT that's responsible for the fibre cabling and infrastructure. A bit like how the railways are part-nationalized, private companies only compete for the profitable bits so leaving the burden of investment on the taxpayer. A bit like how English water is plundered to provide profit while there are leaks all over the place.

We all know that trillions of dollars of fake money gets shifted about every day in the FX markets, it's made convoluted so that nobody understands it but it's basically free money that the big boys make for themselves every day ... a few billion on something genuinely useful is far more worthy.

You find the prospect of fast, free broadband terrifying? 🤔 There are huge swathes of the country that cannot get good broadband or mobile access. What will BoJo and his London set do about that?
