Aeonflux

Question

I've been trying to call IG to setup a new account and was on hold this afternoon for 45 mins and then tonight at 1:00am i've been on now for 30 mins and no one is picking up.

Is this normal? Whats the best way to speak to someone at IG?

Thanks for your first post.

We are currently experiencing high volumes of calls/ email due to increased volatility on the markets. It's not the normal for clients to have to wait so long for IG to get back to them but all of the client facing team are working as many hours as possible to get back to as many traders.

We're sorry for the inconvenience

I have been calling them this morning SGT 10.30am due to many trades they auto-closed on my account due to the drop in Crypto and till 11.30am, I still can't get anyone and its really frustrating

The desk are staying on the phone lines and having calls back to back.

We're sorry that we can't get to everyone as fast as normally.

Yes, when they are not succumbing to a deadly virus that infected 0.001% of the world's population.

It might even be 0.1% at this stage.

Deadly crisis - everyone better go out and buy more freezers and stuff them with more sh!t and thus prevent non-hoarders from being able to buy anything.

Folk are clever, they really are.

Me too. nobody from IG is responding to neither of my emails nor my calls.

I joined IG in March 2020. It takes at least 65 minutes for them to pick up the phone. My account has had so much issues it has been a pain connecting to support.

This really has to improve. Customer's can't be waiting endlessly to get support. With high volume, 10 minutes max or setup web chat for quick help.

Twice I was on both for 30 minutes each time no answer. When you find away to speak to someone at IG tell them to answer the phone please

in March-April I would easily be on hold for up to an hour

but of late it's less than half an hour, yesterday it was pretty much instant

I did have one call where they picked up and took care of an issue, but when they talked to me I could no longer hear them so they hung up and got back to me by mail

Now, a new wave of games, such as Blast Royale, is leveraging blockchain technology to revolutionize the genre. By integrating blockchain, games like Blast Royale allow players to truly own their in-game assets. This means players can trade or sell items they've earned, adding a new dimension of value and engagement. The community-driven approach of these games is another key factor. Players actively participate in shaping the game's future, fostering a strong bond between developers and the community. This ensures the game evolves in line with player preferences. With the upcoming listing of the $NOOB token on exchanges like Bitget, the future of blockchain-powered Battle Royale games looks promising. This technology has the potential to take the genre to new heights.
    • This topic really caught my eye. I totally agree that the 32 ETH requirement is a huge hurdle for a lot of people looking to get into staking on ethereum. I remember when I first heard about ETH staking; I was so excited but felt overwhelmed by the amount needed. I stumbled upon Puffer Finance recently and found it pretty intriguing. The idea that you can stake with just 1 or 2 ETH sounds like a game-changer! I mean, it opens the door for so many more people to participate and help secure the network. Plus, the anti-slashing technology seems promising for those who are worried about losing their stake.
