While the Bank of England (BoE) was the first of these two major central banks to begin the rate hiking journey, souring fundamentals in the UK and an increasing sense of urgency to calm soaring inflation in the US, has led us to this juncture. On Thursday, we could very well see a stark shift in the pace and size of future rate hikes for both regions as the market expects over 70 basis points to be added to the Fed funds rate later this evening, while the BoE is poised to hike by a comparatively low 25 bps.

Quiet start to the week, with some wait-and-see for S&P 500

Optimism of a more cautious Fed coming after the US ADP payroll release was dampened last week, as a better-than-expected US non-farm job report did not provide the confirmation markets were seeking.

Thanks for reaching out and your suggestion.

We are actively investigating TradingView and the values it can deliver to our clients. Naturally we are taking this very seriously and also using this as an opportunity to look at how we can work with 3rd party client trading technologies as a whole. Given the importance of this we have to prioritise the client experience of using TradingView and so this investigation phase has taken quite some time.

Being realistic it is not something we can expect this year but the next is looking promising. Apologies we are unable to be specific with a time frame however there are a number of moving parts. We will continue to give updates and feedback.

1. Once you download open your downloads folder on PC and copy that file.

2. To add an EA, open MT4 and then go to ‘file’ and then ‘open data folder’.

3. Choose ‘MQL4’, and then ‘expert advisors’ You can then copy the file you want to add into this location.

4. Close and reopen MT4, and you should see the item in the navigator window.
