    Hi @Joelonline786,

    Once you MT4 account created it should appear in the list of accounts on the My IG dashboard. 

    Your login would be the MT4 ID which is usually composed of five digits.

    Are you able to locate your MT4 ID ?

    It will depends on the dealing desk and the clients feedback.
    You can ask for Stocks to be added on this thread.

    You will see the eligibility criteria for stocks to be added on the first page.

    HI @JAmbrose,

    There is no charge for PRT demo accounts. You can only access it for a limited period of time. At some point you will need to subscribe to live PRT account to access the demo account.

    You can get access to ProRealTime charts at no extra cost if you transact at least four times in a given month. However, if you don't meet this requirement, or your trading activity is of extremely low value, then a £30 per month fee will apply on the last day of every calendar month

    Thank you for your feedback. As you can see above we are aware that it is a feature that our clients would like to see.
    We forward your feedback to the relevant department to be reviewed, we do have a partnership with TradingView for Pro + accounts but no integration at this point.

    On a share dealing account you can change your currency conversion settings to "Manual" on My IG > Live Accounts > Currency Conversion :

    You will be able to hold USD on your account to buy and sell shares in USD. You will need to convert your fund only when you wish to withdraw your funds and that your base currency is different for example.

    ⚠️Please keep in mind that changing to manual will affect the commission the US stocks.

    On a CFD account you can create an account with USD as the base currency.

    2 of the companies I hold shares in (Andromeda Metals and Minotaur Exploration) are listed on the Australian exchange, and I've read this morning that they are soon to undergo a merger - subject to shareholder and regulatory approval - with Andromeda buying out Minotaur.

    What happens to my Minotaur shares in my IG account? Do they just magically become more Andromeda shares in the same account, at the proposed rate of 1.15:1? I'm assuming that yes, that is the case and it'll all just be magically done with nothing for me to do, but just want to check as this is the first time I've owned shares in a company which has undergone such a process.

    Hi @CRTB,

    The Corporate Action is in charge of this type of events. If there's anything you need to do you will receive an email form the Corporate action. Otherwise, they will book your new shares on their end. You might see your shares sold at 0 and bought back at 0. That would mean that they Corporate action took place. 

    If there is a ISIN number change, it will be done on our end too.

    You can access to your account transaction on My IG > Live Accounts > History.
    You will see all the commission and fees.

    Hi @Loveys,
    The app background changes in accordance with your your phone settings. If you change your phone settings to light or dark mode the app should synchronize with that choice. You can also select the theme on the desktop version image.png

    Once changed your app should change too, light mode being the default option.

    The Australian Dollar remained slightly lower through the Asia-Pacific session after Chinese inflation data crossed the wires. China’s consumer price index (CPI) for October was 1.5% on a year-over-year basis, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). That was over the median consensus forecast of 1.4% y/y and up from September’s 0.7% increase.

    China’s factory-gate prices also increased in October, with the nation’s producer price index (PPI) rising 13.5% y/y, up from September’s 10.7% rise. The higher input costs for factories come as the world deals with lingering supply chain issues from the Covid pandemic. Surging energy costs likely contributed to October’s PPI increase, with coal, oil, and natural gas prices at or near multi-year highs.

    Policymakers have taken several steps in recent months to cool rising prices, ranging from allowing some previously banned Australian coal imports to clear customs to release stocks from strategic national reserves. A slowdown in China’s property sector, which has been exacerbated by the Evergrande crisis, is also clouding the outlook for Asia’s largest economy.

    The price of Fantasia Holdings – another embattled Chinese property developer – is down 50% in Hong Kong after failing to make a coupon payment due last month. The stock started trading on Wednesday for the first time since being suspended in late September. Traders will shift their focus to US inflation data due out tonight.

    Australian Dollar technical outlook

    AUD/USD faces downward pressure, with prices eyeing a second daily loss. The 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) is underpinning the currency pair through Wednesday’s session, but if that level gives way bears are likely to achieve a further push lower. For now, with MACD and RSI aiming lower, the most likely short-term path is biased to the downside.
