What dose FCA and CFD stand for? Are you/ this web site a broker?

What about if you a not a professinal trader? and your sol purpose is to save money in crypto (and also buy and sell if allowed to do so in the UK)

The FCA is the Financial Conduct Authority (UK) and CFD stands for Contract for Difference.

If you do not classify as a professional trader, you won't have access to Cryptocurrency trading. 

Please have a look into that page https://www.ig.com/au/cfd-trading/what-is-cfd-trading-and-how-does-it-work.

You will be using leverage to gain access to cryptos which incurs risks.

• CFD and spread bets on All Session US shares
  9am to 1am Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 10pm Friday (UK time)
• Share dealing on All Session US shares
  12pm to 10:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 12 to 10pm Friday (UK time)

Only the most popular US stocks will be available.

It is likely that the stock is Non-Leverage only.

if it's a new card, It is likely that the issue is linked to the 3D Secure check. When you try to deposit a pop-ip window should come up for your bank to verify and approve the transaction. Unfortunately IG does not communicate with the ATO like a Superannuation fund would for example. A TFN is required as for AUS account as only Australian sole tax resident can open an account.

When engaging in leveraged margin trading, your equity is the total value of your open positions minus the total amount of debt used to open those positions.

I have reach out to the relevant department. They are looking at including CGT statements for next year. But there is nothing guaranteed at this point.
