  1. Hi @Niiade73 Thanks for reaching out, When using stops you are not guaranteed to be closed out at your specified stop level unless you are using a guaranteed stop. This is important to note as when there is an aggressive pull back from the market slippage may occur. You can learn more about slippage and guaranteed stops from the following link: https://www.ig.com/uk/trading-strategies/what-is-slippage-and-how-do-you-avoid-it-in-trading--190319 All the best, Anda
  2. Hi @Sitiain66 Thanks for reaching out, We do produce consolidated tax certificates for share dealing accounts. However these are yet to be available for download. You can find some useful information from the following forum: All the best, Anda
  3. Hi @FOUR9FINE Stop order will sell at your specified price or a less favourable price. i.e. that price or below if you are selling depending on the best available price in the market. All the best, Anda
  4. Hi @FOUR9FINE Thanks for reaching out, Stop losses are only available on spread betting or CFD trading. They are not available on the share dealing platform. This is because they are OTC orders not available on the underlying exchange. You can however use a stop order to exit your position at a particular level. In order to achieve this select 'stop order' from the order types section on the deal ticket. Remember as this is not a typical stop loss order your order would be executed at the closest available price once triggered. You can learn more about this from the following link: https://www.ig.com/uk/risk-management/stop-orders All the best, Anda
  5. Hi @Tristan369 Thanks for reaching out, Our share trading financial statements are not yet available for download. The statements team is still working on these. Once available you should be able to download from My IG>Live accounts>statements All the best, Anda

  7. Hi @anthonyli01 Thanks for reaching out, We are no longer offering US ETFs to retail accounts as we are unable to provide a KID (Key Investor Document) at the point of sale. Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 (the PRIIPs) regulation states that all retail clients must be provided with a Key Information Document (KID) prior to the purchase on any security (PRIIP) within the scope of the regulation. Unfortunately the only solution is if you are able to qualify for a professional account. All the best, Anda
  8. Hi @Dannymacca Thanks for reaching out, The ex-date for the spin off was 30th June 2022, so you would have needed to hold the shares on market close prior to the ex-date to be eligible for the shares. However none of our clients have received their entitlements at the moment as we are still waiting to receive the shares from our prime broker. We are chasing our broker daily on this. All the best, Anda
  9. Hi @Shelvock Thank you for reaching out, You can email helpdesk.uk@ig.com to have the fee refunded. All the best, Anda

  24. Hi @LambdaVelorum Thanks for reaching out, If you have a long position, then a stop loss would trigger based on the bid price i.e. you need to sell to close. If you have a short position, then a stop loss will trigger based on the ask price i.e. you need to buy to close. All the best, Anda
  25. Hi @actrades2121 Thanks for reaching out, Unfortunately this cannot be changed. It works based on the closing price on the candles. Green if closing price is greater than the previous closing price, and red the other way around. All the best, Anda
