  2. Dear @NotSoAnonymous, Please note that market orders are available during market open. To place an order to a working order, you are better off placing a limit or stop order. Please also note that on share dealing accounts, some equities will not have the 'stop' order type option. We have a lot of resources on order from our platform: Limit Orders and Stop Orders All the best, KoketsoIG
  3. Hi @eileen and @Henniet, Thank you for the posts, Apologies for any inconvenience caused, please note that these have now been uploaded on the blogs. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  4. Please see the expected dividend adjustment figures for a number of our major indices for the week commencing 25th March 2024. These are projected dividends and are likely to change. IG cannot be held responsible for any changes made. Dividends highlighted in red include a special dividend, therefore some or all of the amount will not be adjusted. The amount in brackets is the expected adjustment after special dividends are excluded (where shown on major indices). Dividend adjustments due to be posted on a bank holiday will usually be posted on the previous working day. If you have any queries or questions on this please let us know in the comments section below. For further information regarding dividend adjustments, and how they affect your positions, please take a look at the video. How do dividend adjustments work? 8. Dear @BogdanV, Thank you for post. Please note that commodity futures settle in the month previous to the named month (so Feb settles in Jan, Mar settles in Feb). Please note we are only reflecting the terms of the real market. Options expiry is similar to futures contracts for commodities in that they all settle a few days/weeks before the start of the name month. This is due to the difference in 'the last trade date' and the 'delivery date' as if you were taking physical delivery of the commodity, it happens on the month itself but trading concludes in the month prior. Please refer to the CME website for a list of expiries: Gold Options Calendar Thanks, KoketsoIG
  9. @Cristiano73 Noted, we recorded your suggestions for our team to pick up on. Thanks, KoketsoIG

  11. Dear @Sartois, Thank you for reaching out! It seems like the order type may be causing the rejections. To trade in the pre-market, make sure to select a Day (All sessions) expiry type. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  12. Dear @Sartois, Thank you for reaching out! We have forwarded your request to the shares desk and will share feedback once it has been reviewed. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  13. Dear @123abc, Thank you for your patience. Yes, the desk will ensure that these are changed to correctly reflect the updated limits. Please also note that the limit is in GBP so it would be GBP30 pp for spread betting or the $ equivalent. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  14. Dear @123abc, Thank you for your response. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The desk has confirmed that the limit for long positions is 2M. 17. Dear @tonybyrne, Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the IG community! Just to clarify, are you asking about collateral services? Please note that we do not offer collateral services on smart portfolio accounts. This service is for professional clients when they are trading on leveraged accounts (spread bets and CFDs). Thanks, KoketsoIG
  18. Dear @keroppi, Welcome to the IG community! We're glad to have you here. Unfortunately, the working order will take up margin. This ensures you have enough margin to keep the position open once it triggers. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  19. Dear @Rstarkey, Thank you for reaching out. Just a heads up, ISAs are not tax reportable, and we don't send out tax documents for them. If you have an existing IG account, head to the dashboard, click on 'add an account,' and choose ISA. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  20. Dear @Rstarkey, Thank you for your post! Just a heads up, the cash from dividends is credited to your account on the payment date. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  21. Dear @123abc, Thank you for reaching out. Here are some important points to consider: 1. The maximum notional for long positions is GBP 500,000 across all crypto positions. To calculate the size, you can use the formula 500,000 = 63,920.20x. Approximately, x = GBP 7.8 per point (based on the price at the time of calculation). 2. Please be aware that GBP 5 per point is below the calculated amount mentioned above. 3. If you would like to increase your maximum exposure, please contact us so we can check with the desk. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  22. Dear @Cristiano73, Thank you for your post! We are thrilled to have you as part of our community. Your question is a bit vague. Which list are you referring to? If you are talking about the economic calendar, please note that Eurozone inflation is included in the list. Additionally, the 'Week Ahead' weekly blog lists all upcoming events so that clients are aware. Thanks, KoketsoIG
  23. Dear @TradeSniper47, Please note that out-of-hours trading is automatically enabled once your account is activated. This only applies to markets available outside of regular trading hours. You can find a comprehensive overview of all the markets here: Out-of-Hours Trading Thanks, KoketsoIG
  24. Dear @TradeSniper47, Please note that more equity options might be introduced on the platform in future, based on demand. Thanks, KoketsoIG
