Video on how the scammers on instagram, myfacebook etc turn up with fantastic looking 'live' account records with reputable brokers by using white labeled fake mt4 servers. Scamming is clearing becoming a massive industry in the world of retail trading (as if it wasn't big already).

Very strong language

Youtube banned this video above on how scammers using disconnected broker servers to show fake live trading accounts so the guy put it on Dtube instead. see here.

very useful tool! would like advanced visualizations like this in the platform

very useful and shows whats available via subscription services over and above your average broker platform. Can always go down the mt4 route where there are all sorts of interesting toys though not usually as professionally presented as this one in the vid.

So you're saying there are people out there who have "fake live accounts" where they can simply upload any equity, place trades where they enter and exit at any level they like and then show off their insane growth rates?

Question I'm having: Where do they get all the money from to buy their lambos and stuff? And also is this not the most boring exercise in the world? Faking results and making youtube videos about it?

Very rare free vid from Anton Kreil's Institute of Trading.

Why Shorts are Hard To Find and How You Can Find Great Shorts - Jason McDonald

45 min. Just published today but is from a conference in 2016.

Watched that video yesterday night.

While I am a fan of Anton Kreil's institute, I do think they are not teaching trading, but investing, even though they call themselves traders.

They always talk about holding stuff for 1-3 months and have target returns of 25% per year. Lol, that's investing. Anton once said, they are using about 1:4 leverage, so that is still 100% account size growth per year, but still not enough to make a living out of it, unless you have at least £50k in equity.

25% growth per year for an investment account is considered very solid results, but for a trader surely that's what you want to make per month otherwise what's the point.
Ricky from Techbud Solutions for example trades with a $100k account and aims for $2k per day, that's $40k per month or 40%. Of course he doesn't always hit the $2k and sometimes also loses, but surely he averages at 25% a month then approx.

It's all true I'm afraid. So you hire the use of the disconnected server which shows you as having a live account with a known broker, you then fill in fake backdated trades giving you fantastic results and a massive account size. Then get a few pics of yourself with a rented lambo and post the lot on instagram. You will be inundated with requests from hopefuls willing to pay 1k - 5k a month for your subscription service, some of these guys carry a caseload of 100 clients at a time, the clients drop out when they realise it's a scam but others are queuing up to replace them.

In another video (that also got banned) he looked up IG and they didn't have any disconnected servers but most other brokers did. Gain Capital had dozens of them running, it's not the brokers who are doing it and I don't know why they have these servers but they are there and are being used fraudulently.

Well the brokers obviously also have an interest to get as many noobs as possible to trade and lose all their money, so I get why they would facilitate such a move if you happen to be an influencer with a couple of thousand followers and promise to bring in hundreds of noobs per month, ready to lose it all.

Next question would be: If someone plays this strategy, where do they get the knowledge to create a 30 hour trading course? Or is everything in that course simply also loads of ****? (I never purchased any of those courses, so can't tell)

The broker doesn't gain and is probably just finding out as well that the servers are being misused. A few bad brokers in unregulated countries can profit from clients blowing up their accounts but not here, the scam doesn't include the broker and these guys don't need to sell courses though some do, it's not hard to cobble together stuff off the net. They are calling out their trades, instagram is great because you can delete posts and reply's and how long does it take for someone to finally admit to themselves they've been had, quite a while it seems. And when it finally all blows up you just shut it down and start up again using a different name.

Will be lucky to get returns of 6 - 7 % nowadays.  Always remember that the only people who get much richer in the world of finance are people who are rich to begin with!  Get out of this as soon as you get a chance and collect 'professional fees' and 'spreads', because that's the only reliable source of income in the world of trading.

Warren Buffett says he would guarantee 50% return per annum if he managed a $1m portfolio.

With $100b that kind of returns are simply not possible

As the kind of Anton Kreil dudes portfolio size is surely not larger than $1m, $10m at the max, returns of 25% surely are possible.

The bigger problem is, if you only have $500-$2000 to start with, how to grow that to $1m. That's they ultimate key question. Cause there your annual returns need to be somewhere in the thousands, if not tens of thousands.

Think Ross Cameron started with $570 and grew that to $300k or so in the first year of his trading challenge. That's 525,000 % right there. Key is to get the initial $500 as quick as possible to like $100k and then reduce risk from there and aim for slower growth.

Buy the Bulls @BuyTheBulls

If you’re the buy and hold type this low maintenance enhancement will make your life a hell of a lot more comfortable. Especially if you need funds in the middle off a GFC meltdown.

"In summary, a low frequency strategy with minimal workload that provides a slightly better return than buy and hold, yet without the significant downside that a buy and hold investor needs to contend with."

Great News, the average age when people see the light and crossover from supporting socialism to supporting conservatism has dropped by 8 years, now the average age is 39, down from 47. (You Gov).

That's the amount of real life experience needed to see that socialism is not about a fairer society at all but is really about taking complete and total control while conservatism is not about selfishness but is really about protecting personal freedoms.

Wave Cancel invalid level: 1.99747 The GBPAUD Elliott Wave Analysis for the Day Chart offers insights into the ongoing corrective movements in the British Pound/Australian Dollar (GBPAUD) pair. This analysis details the current wave structure and provides key information for traders seeking to understand potential trend reversals or continuations.   ### Function The analysis describes the function as "Counter Trend," suggesting that the current market movement opposes the broader trend. This is a critical indication for traders who may be considering short-term trades within a larger trend context.   ### Mode The mode is categorized as "Corrective," which indicates that the current wave pattern is part of a larger correction phase. Corrective waves tend to be more complex and less directional, often comprising various sub-waves that challenge the prevailing trend.   ### Structure The structure is identified as "Blue wave C," indicating that the market is in the final stages of a corrective phase. This phase often precedes a shift in trend direction or the start of a new impulse wave sequence.   ### Position The position within the wave structure is described as "black wave 2." This indicates that the current corrective wave is nearing completion, signaling that a new wave sequence, possibly an impulse wave, might be forming.   ### Direction for the Next Lower Degrees The expected direction for the next lower degrees is "black wave 3." This suggests that after the current corrective phase, there could be a strong impulse wave, leading to significant directional movement in the market.   ### Details The details section provides a deeper look into the current phase of the wave structure. According to the analysis, red wave C of B is considered completed, signaling the end of this specific wave sequence. Now, blue wave C of 2 is in play, indicating that the final corrective wave is unfolding. The "Wave Cancel invalid level" is set at 1.99747, which is a crucial reference point. If the price crosses this level, the current wave structure could be invalidated, suggesting a different interpretation.   In summary, the GBPAUD Elliott Wave Analysis for the Day Chart indicates a counter-trend movement with a corrective mode. The red wave C of B is complete, and the blue wave C of 2 is now in play. The analysis points to a potential shift in market trends, with the invalidation point set at 1.99747. It outlines the expected wave structures, mode, and invalidation points, indicating areas of potential trend reversal or continuation.   ### Function The analysis specifies the function as "Counter Trend," suggesting that the current market movement is in opposition to the prevailing broader trend. This information is useful for traders looking to identify corrective phases where reversals or minor trends occur.   ### Mode The mode is described as "impulsive," indicating that the market movements are characterized by strong momentum and rapid shifts within the defined wave structure. This behavior is typical during phases where trends exhibit clear directionality.   ### Structure The structure is defined as "Blue wave C," indicating that the analysis is observing the final wave in a corrective sequence. The completion of this wave generally leads to the beginning of a new cycle or a reversal in trend direction.   ### Position The position within the wave structure is "black wave 2." This position signifies a pivotal point within a broader corrective phase, indicating that a new wave sequence might be forming or in progress.   ### Direction for the Next Lower Degrees The expected direction for the next lower degrees is "black wave 3," suggesting that the analysis anticipates a significant shift toward a new impulse wave in the broader trend. This can lead to a strong directional movement in the market.   ### Details The details offer a more in-depth look at the current phase of the wave structure. The red wave C of B is observed to be completed, signaling the end of a specific wave sequence. Now, the blue wave C of 2 is currently in play, suggesting that the final stages of this corrective structure are unfolding. The "Wave Cancel invalid level" is set at 1.90459, which is a crucial point for validating or invalidating the current wave structure.
