  6. Hi @McTrucky Thanks for the response. Stamp duty is payable on most but not all UK stocks. IAG LN is one of the exempt stocks. Best way to see this is to check if the ISIN begins with a GB, if not then it is unlikely to qualify. All the best Anda
  7. Hi @MikeP12 Thanks for the query, Yes you can set a limit order to close. You would just need to specify half of your position in the trade size box. It is best to use good till cancelled as the expiry as that will only expire after 90 days. All the best, Anda
  8. Hi @McTrucky Thanks for the query, This would be true if you were trading in certificate form. However when trading with IG you trade in nominee form which still attracts Stamp duty regardless of the trade size. So in your example it would be more expensive as you would still pay the stamp duty for each transaction as well as the added commission costs. All the best, Anda

FYI the backend system shows all your stop amendments, so they would have executed if triggered.   23. Hi Michael Thank you for the query, Yes you can change your international account base currency to USD. You can do this by sending a request to helpdesk.za@ig.com. There is no material difference to the account. Same instruments will be available, same tax rules apply, the same deposit/withdrawal timeframes will apply. The difference depends on the product that you will be trading. If you intend to trade mostly dollar denominated products then it would make sense to change your base currency to USD so that you can save on FX conversion fees. All the best Anda
