We price our options based on the Black-Scholes model. This is a mathematical model that will calculate option prices looking at the following variables: Value of the underlying asset, strike price, volatility and time until expiration. The model will automatically derive a price which is then displayed on the platform. This is a brief summary but you are welcome to research the model to delve into the detail.

So in your example profit would be 100USD less the premium paid when purchasing.

As the majority of Interbank Offered Rates(IBORs) will no longer exist at the end of 2021, we are replacing them with Alternative Reference Rates (ARRs). This has been proposed by regulators. The effect on overnight funding fees will be immaterial. It will be the same calculation except we will just use ARR + a credit risk adjustment factor instead of IBOR.

On spread betting we price our shares directly from the exchange. We then wrap IG spread around that price. The only difference between the exchange price and the IG price is account for in spread. Please see the following link for an indication of our spreads in different jurisdictions.
