  4. Hey, Thanks for your post. I've had someone search for your email and action it by the end of the week. With regards to IG as a business it wouldn't be fair to give you that information as I work here but others on the community should be more than happy to help All the best, Charlotte
  5. If it's a share dealing or ISA account it's more than likely to be due to the settlement period. Please know our settlement period works on a T+2 (T+3 for US shares( basis. This means the cash for these shares won't settle on your account the day you sold them but two working days later. Many thanks for your understanding. I hope this clarifies why you can't withdraw your funds at the moment. I hope this helps. If it doesn't let me know by replying to my message and putting @charlotteIG
  6. Hey, I got one of my colleagues to check this and they've got back to your email regarding the delay. Sorry for the inconvenience. All the best

  9. Please see the expected dividend adjustment figures for a number of our major indices for the week commencing 12th April 2021. If you have any queries or questions on this please let us know in the comments section below. For further information regarding dividend adjustments, and how they affect your positions, please take a look at the video. NB: All dividend adjustments are forecasts and therefore speculative. A dividend adjustment is a cash neutral adjustment on your account. Special Dividends
  10. Hey, If the funds were sent out of IG on the 7th March that's too long to wait for a withdrawal. Bank withdrawals take 1/2 working days, card withdrawals 2-4 working days and paypal is 1 working day. I would suggest emailing us at helpdesk.uk@ig.com. Let us know the withdrawal you're referring to and ask for a receipt proving the funds left out account. The bank can then show that to the intermediate and track the funds. All the best
  11. If you're trading FX you must be on a leveraged account (spread betting/ CFD) and the answer is yes you can get your account base currency changed. If you email us at helpdesk.uk@ig.com and request for the base currency to be changed we will be able to assist you. All the best

  13. Once the date turns to 6th April 2021 any money deposited into your ISA will be for your 2021/2022 allowance. They're all kept in the same account but we're aware of how much you've put in for each financial year. I hope this helps.

  16. Hey, If you watch the video in the blog above you will see how dividend adjustments work. When a dividend adjustment is made the price of that market, in this case the FTSE, jumps down. We have to debit short clients that amount because the position unfairly moved in their favour. If we didn't make those adjustments traders would short the index just before the dividend adjustment and unfairly gain. Have a look at the video and let me know if you have any other questions. All the best
  17. Hey, You should find them on your CFD/ Spread betting account under US Equity Options
  18. Hey @Getrich, If you had sufficient funds on your account we wouldn't have closed it due to a margin call. I would advise reaching out to us so we can look into the position and let you know why it was closed. All the best
  19. Thanks for your post. What’s the GIN number when opening a Primary Bid account? The GIN number is your IG share dealing account number. This can be found on the MyIG page. Make sure that you are using your correct share dealing account number - do not use an ISA account number or one of your leveraged accounts (CFD or spread betting) as we will not be able to accept shares into these other account types. You can find more information on this here:
  20. If possible do you have a video of setting up the trade then when it closes. And Ideally the demo history log. Then we can determine why the positions closing.
  21. Thanks for your post. Having new customers come to IG is a positive thing for our business. If we didn't want to pay out referral bonuses we wouldn't offer the scheme. The reason an account rejects can be different. I would advise reaching out to us to figure out why. If someone over the phone says reapply then you will need to use a different email address and email us to let us know you've reapplied. All the best
