Please note that a long position is closed using the bid price. The above chart is showing the mid i.e. the price without spread. You can change the price of the chart by right clicking on the chart. The lowest bid on the day was 9845.6. Please see attached screenshot.

FX conversion fee, 0.7% spread on exchange rate at time of execution

Unfortunately the deal ticket will only show the loss / profit in the currency which denominates the instrument that you are trading.

When a position is closed the margin is released back to the available funds and the loss is realised simultaneously.

Just to correct the previous post. 

We do offer micro-lots, only on MT4. On IG platforms you can only trade standard or mini lots. Yes the introduction programme will allow you to trade 25% of normal trading sizes. However this is only for trades that are placed through the IG platform. Please see the following links to read more on this:

You can trade equity options only on a CFD or spread betting account. We only have a few equity options available online as illustrated in the screenshot. The rest are on phone dealing only. Meaning you would need to call in to trade.

Please note that micro-lots are only available on the MT4 platform, we do not offer DMA on MT4. You would need to use the IG platform or L2 dealer for DMA. We do not charge commission on forex. Thanks for the feedback. 

We can confirm that the issue is being investigated by IT. We don't have an ETA for the fix unfortunately, our IT team do not assign timeframes but rather work in order of priority between a number of cases. When checking this with the helpdesk you can use the following reference number INC0610861. In some cases the agent involved may not be aware that the issue is already reported to IT,  which will result in them asking for screenshots etc.

Your order will only expire at 19:00 provided that your specified price is not triggered before that time. Should it be triggered the trade will become live and you will need to close it manually / or through a stop or a limit.

[Selling paper certificate shares]

Thanks for the query. The first step is to dematerialise your share certificates. In order to do this you would need to download and complete the Crest Transfer form from the following link: https://www.ig.com/uk/investments/share-dealing/important-documents

Please note the fee applicable is GBP100 per certificate. The timeframe to complete the transfer is three to six weeks. Once transferred then you will be able to sell the shares from the IG platform.
