  1. Hi there, it can take up to a week depending on the number of new applications our account opening receives. In addition to documents, our team conduct their own research and may even contact you to ask additional questions, before approving/ rejecting your application. Whilst you have uploaded all documents, the account team still need to manually activate your account, which is why you can still see ‘pending’. You will receive an email confirmation when your account has been activated. Thanks for your patience. OfentseIG
  2. Hi @Hampshire321 Thanks for reaching out. All markets will have a set minimum distance and this will be different for each product. These distances can be shown in points or percentage of the price. During periods of increased or expected market volatility, we may increase the minimum stop distance as compared to the initial stop distance. In such situations you will have to adhere to the new stop distance when amending your stop levels. Thanks, OfentseIG
  3. Hi @Josh Immediately after opening your trade, you’ll notice that your position will start at a loss equal to the spread at the time you placed your trade. Say you wish to purchase 1 contract of the FTSE 100 (1 contract is valued at £10 per point), and the full spread between the bid and ask price is 1 point.* The spread cost of this trade would be 1 contract x £10 per point (value of the contract) x 1 point spread = £10 Therefore, your position would open at a loss of £10 to pay off spread. All the best, OfentseIG

  5. Hi @waynemac After checking with the relevant team, the integration was pushed to mid year. It will be a staggered launch so mot all countries will get access at the same time. We will confirm the details and the date by email to all our clients. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience. All the best, OfentseIG
  6. Hi @MayorofBelsize and All, After checking with the relevant team, the integration will be finalized to mid year. It will be a staggered launch so not all countries will get access at the same time. We will confirm the details of the integration and the date by email to all our clients. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience. All the best, OfentseIG
  7. Hi @Mikey The emails sent out when a client's account gets to 99% and 75% apply for all accounts. That is correct, for UK standard/retail accounts, the only rule that applies is the 50% rule so you can stay in margin call for more than 24 hours. As long as your Equity is more than 50% of your margin, we won't close you out. These rules are different for UK professional accounts. Positions only close if Equity = 50% of Margin For example, if your Margin is £1000, and your Equity £500 (due to running losses), the positions will close until Equity > Margin. Thanks, OfentseIG
  8. Hi @scc1963 Thanks for reaching out and yes, that is most likely the case. The charges would be commission and conversion charges. With the ISA account, a client would be unable to convert their account to a multi-currency account which enables you to keep different currencies without converting funds after every trade. The multi currency setting is only possible for share trading accounts. For multi-currency accounts, clients will pay commission of 2 cents per share with a minimum charge of $15 on US stocks. Changing your currency conversion settings influences the amount of commission you pay. Our team reviews these changes on a monthly basis, so it may take some time to update your account. Please be aware that changing from converting on 'instant' to 'manual' means that you'll no longer qualify for commission-free trading (As shown in the below table) >>> All the best, OfentseIG
  9. Hi @san604 My apologies. That link is if you want to contact us by live chat. The correct email to use is helpdesk.uk@ig.com Thanks, OfentseIG
  10. Please see the expected dividend adjustment figures for a number of our major indices for the week commencing 20th March 2023. These are projected dividends and likely to change. Amount in brackets is the expected adjustment after special dividends excluded (where shown on major indices). Dividend adjustments due to be posted on a bank holiday will usually be posted on the previous working day. If you have any queries or questions on this please let us know in the comments section below. 13. Hi @Flipperbhoy You can change your bank details from the desk top on My IG. Click on the live accounts tab and select Card/Bank Details. All the best, OfentseIG
  14. Hi @Mikey Your calculations are correct. Equity: £229.90 50% of £462.13 = £231.07 That means your equity dropping below 50% of margin would put your account on margin call. As soon as your Equity = Margin, the positions close out to bring your available funds to a positive number. I believe margin call system on demo accounts has been disabled for administrative purposes. All the best, OfentseIG

  17. Hi @2wheelDeal When trading an All Sessions stock, you can only place orders using an all-sessions expiry instead of a normal one. This means your order type has to be a Limit order with the expiry 'Day All Sessions' for your order to execute pre/post market or during market hours. Thanks, OfentseIG
  18. Hi @2wheelDeal Thanks for reaching out. Could you please confirm the name of the stock you are trying to trade? Thanks, OfentseIG
