    The only difference is the graphics card, so I tried to disable hardware accelleration in Firefox and also tried to disable WebGL. Without effect, the same error still persists.

    It also will fail the same with Tor Browser on that laptop (which might also rule out the network part as Tor uses its own stack) while Tor Browser works with IG Platform on the other two laptops.

    Before the redirection to IG UK Website happens, for a second an error message is shown below the IG logo:

    ?? general-error.header ??

    ??general-error.subtext ??

     

    I've got no idea what could relate to this error and why Firefox is failing on that specific PC while it runs in exactly the same portable configuration on other two.

    Hi @xenoide,
    Have you tried to clear the cache and cookies? Have you tried with another browser? It could also be due to a firewall.

    Hi @baltimix,

    The Demo account simulate a CFD account. On a share trading account you can't add a Stop Loss

    You can see Order type : Quote  or Limit Order because the market is closed at the moment ( on the screenshot), Once the market is live you will have more options.

    HI,

    As mentioned above we removed Cannabis stock from the Share dealing platform. This was on the back of a review of the regulatory and political implications of offering Cannabis stocks in the UK with a recreational link. You can therefore only trade this on a leverage account which is a derivative and hedged via swaps.

    HI @rieckstudio,

    You can change your settings from " Instant Conversion" ( meaning automatically converting back to your main currency AUD)  to " Manual Conversion" ( Allowing you to hold USD and convert back to AUD when you like). You can change from My IG > Live account > Currency conversion > Select > Save Changes:

    ⚠️Please keep in mind that changing to Manual conversion will change the commissions on your share dealing account:

    Meaning you won't have free commission on US stocks. You will be able to use the USD you hold to purchase more US stocks.

    HI @Georg,

    If you already reached out to the helpdesk  they will handle your query. All our offices are working on the helpdesk queries to avoid queries to stay in the queue for too long. It is possible that your query was picked up by another office than your own country ( if there is an office where you are located).

    All offices have the knowledge and skills to answer most questions. Only when the query is too region specific then the case can be sent to the office handling the relevant country.

    This allow IG to work on a 24h basis to be available for our clients.

    There was Corporate action on Melrose a consolidation of 9 for 10.

    When you transfer shares into your account, the book cost will be displayed as zero, unless you have provided us with a figure on your transfer form. The book cost will also be changed to zero if there has been a corporate action on your shareholding.

    You can find how to edit you book cost here.

    Once edited your P/L will be acurate.

    Melrose was under a Corporate Action, a consolidation of 9 for 10.

I jumped back in, long  but the price  I bought was not the price that the chart was showing ... so I got out  ..even then the price i sold was not the same   .... i looked at the buy  and sell buttons   and realise the frozen ...i got my phone out start filming it   i reset the platform   and nothing i reset again then it start working ....

    at that point I lost   200 share  in then out, at the wrong position    ...since this was the second time the problem was happening with in half an hour...... I was not happy  

    WHAT SHOULD I DO     ???

    In this scenario the best thing is to contact the helpdesk on  0800 195 3100 or helpdesk.uk@ig.com or via live chat. The helpdesk will be able to investigate your order history and discuss with a dealer if necessary.

    This feature is available on retail accounts. You will need to pay a fees to access data either Level 1 or Level 2. You can subscribe on My IG > Settings > Data Feeds:

    Once a complaint is lodge the compliance team will go through all the interaction in regards of the issue raised. The investigation can take some time. Once reviewed they will come back to you with the result of he investigation and an outcome to your query.
