If a market is limit up/ down then the underlying is suspended. We will give clients any positive slippage if the market opens past their limit level 🙂

Thanks for your post. I've asked someone to look into the emails you sent from the address this community account is set up with. If you hold stocks and no cash on the account you have to sell your shares and wait for a settlement period before the cash can be released. All the best

If you already have a sell order for a stock you will not be able to sell more, we don't have one cancels the other. We are looking to add this. You can have add stop order and then set an alert at your limit price then amend the sell order.

Hey, thanks for your post. This hasn't happened yet so I wouldn't be able to say what IG would do. But, with limit down/ up restrictions we've kept the positions open until the market reopened. If this were to happen we will inform clients of our actions.

It's not restricted for some and fine for others. When this happened no one can trade over the phone either. At the moment we have a high volume of calls. Wall st is currently suspended. The underlying is suspended. No one can trade on this market. When it goes available (green) it means the underlying is open again and everyone can trade. Hey, The overnight funding for the VIX is calculated the same way as overnight funding. The best explanation is on our website which you can find by following the link below under commodities. Note, the rate last night was -0.469983 and 0.462142. Meaning if you were short you would have paid 0.469983 x bet size. With the TFN you have to go to Buy an Australian stock. It will get rejected and a pop up should ask you to add the TFN. If the pop us is not appearing you will need to remove pop-up blocker on the browser, login again and try.

This is currently unborrowable. Spanish regulator has now imposed a market-wide ban on short-selling until the 17th April. Which is why the index is currently unborrowable. You can check it on the get info section.

The spreads have increased because the futures spreads have increased. The way we price our cash market is taking the futures and adjusting for dividends and interest. Due to uncertainty in the marker and volatility increasing we've had to adjust accordingly.
